King of the Hill Series

The annual King of the Hill Skateboard and Scooter Comp Series is being held across 4 local governments in the south east corridor again this year.

The Skate Park Series is a collaborative project between four local governments – including the cities of Gosnells, Belmont, Canning and Armadale – and is being presented by headspace Armadale.

This series aims to increase awareness of support services for young people and help break the stigma around mental illness. 1 in 4 young people experience a mental illness during their teenage years and getting help early means bouncing back sooner! Headspace will be hanging out at all the events with the recharge tent.

Heaps of huge prizes including cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each age division for both skateboard and scooter. The first 4 events will be qualifiers in order to gain entry for the final at Belmont Skate Park on the 13 October 2018 from 12-4pm.
