The City runs a range of skate park events that are supervised by youth workers. These are free drop-in style programs where young people are free to come and go as they wish.

 

Schedule for January Holidays 2019 

Skate Jams

Skate Jams are supervised casual sessions at our skate parks where youth workers bring down skateboards, helmets, music player and snacks and run a jam sessions. Young people can join in with their skateboards, scooters or bikes. It is a drop-in style program so young people are free to come and go as they wish. 

Ages: Open to all ages

Times: 4pm - 7pm

Gosnells Skate Park: Thursdays - 3 Jan, 10 Jan, 17 Jan and 31 Jan AND Tuesdays - 8 Jan,15 Jan, 22 Jan and 29 Jan

Thornlie Skate Park: Fridays - 4 Jan, 11 Jan,   18 Jan, 25 Jan and 1 Feb

Maddington Skate Park: Mondays - 7 Jan, 14 Jan and 21 Jan

Mills Park Skate Park: Wednesdays - 9 Jan, 16 Jan 23 Jan and 30 Jan 

 

Skate/Scooter Clinics

Skate Scooter BMX Comp Thornlie Skate Park: Thurs 24 Jan, 5pm – 8pm

Skateboarding Comp with Beyond Skate and Skateboarding WA @ Mills Park Skate Plaza: Sat 2 Feb, 2pm – 5pm
